Europa at Liverpool

To the liner enthusiast, it is perhaps a trifle strange to see a HAPAG Lloyd vessel bearing the name EUROPA berthed outside the Cunard Building at Liverpool with all the history associated with these two companies in particular the rivalry of the early part of he 20th Century.

On Wednesday 28th August 2002, the latest bearer of the proud name visited the city and I took the opportunity of seeing the ship for myself at dusk. Here are my images
